Terms & Conditions
Last updated: January 2026. By booking a service with WowOddJobs ("we," "us"), you agree to the following terms.
1. Scope of services
We provide handyman, carpentry, painting, plumbing and flooring services to residential and small commercial customers in the Greater Toronto Area. All work is performed by employees or vetted subcontractors who carry valid Ontario trade licenses where applicable.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes provided remotely are based on the information you give us and are confirmed on-site before work begins. Hourly work is billed in 15-minute increments after a 1-hour minimum. Materials are billed at cost plus a small handling fee.
3. Deposits and payments
A non-refundable deposit (typically $50 CAD) is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due on completion. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac Debit (tap), Apple Pay, Google Pay and Interac e-Transfer — all amounts in Canadian dollars.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the booked start time receive a full deposit refund. Same-day cancellations forfeit the deposit. We may reschedule a visit due to safety conditions (weather, site access) at no penalty to you.
5. Workmanship guarantee
Our work is guaranteed for one year from completion. If a repair we performed fails under normal use, contact us and we will return to make it right at no charge. The guarantee does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, third-party work, or pre-existing conditions outside the scope of the original job.
6. Liability
WowOddJobs maintains $2M general liability insurance and WSIB coverage. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions in the home or for damages caused by hidden hazards (e.g. concealed wiring or plumbing) provided we acted with reasonable care.
